Workshop on "Preparation for Civil Service & APSC Examinations"

On August 14, 2025, at 2:00 PM, a one-day workshop titled “Preparation for Civil Service & APSC Examinations” was held for the 1st, 3rd, and 5th semester FYUGP students by SPM IAS Academy, Guwahati. The event took place in the Digital Classroom of Namrup College and was organized by the Career Guidance & Counselling Cell (CGCC) of Namrup College, in collaboration with IQAC and IIC, Namrup College. The workshop was hosted by Dr. Rituraj Dutta, Assistant Professor, Department of Physics, and Mr. Sajidur Rahman, Assistant Professor, Department of Zoology, Namrup College.

Mr. Gitartha Pratim Bhuyan, Business Development Manager at SPM IAS Academy, Guwahati, participated as the Resource Person for the workshop. A total of 24 students from Namrup College, together with other faculty members, attended the session. The Resource Person outlined effective strategies for preparing for both Civil Service and APSC Examinations and discussed key features of SPM IAS Academy, including its offerings of UPSC/APSC coaching classes for students.

Additionally, the session covered the well-designed course structures, pedagogical approaches, facilities, and support provided by SPM IAS Academy. The students greatly benefited from the career counselling workshop, which concluded successfully at 3:00 PM.
