IQAC Meeting at the end of academic session 2024-25

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Namrup College organized its 4th meeting on 28th June 2025, marking the conclusion of the academic session 2024-25. The meeting was presided over by Dr. Durga Prasad Gogoi, Principal & Chairperson of IQAC, Namrup College.

Proceedings

• Welcome and Objectives:
  Dr. Jayanta Sonowal, Coordinator of IQAC, delivered the welcome address and outlined the objectives of the meeting. He also presented a detailed statement on the progress of IQAC activities up to the end of the academic session 2024-25.
• Action Plan Presentation:
  Dr. Sonowal elaborated on the proposed action plan for the upcoming academic session 2025-26, highlighting key initiatives and targets.
• Principal’s Address:
  Dr. Durga Prasad Gogoi expressed his views on the objectives and the action plan. He emphasized the importance of collective effort and sought support from all committee members to achieve the set goals within the stipulated timeframe.
• Participation of External Members:
• Mr. Pankaj Kr. Gogoi, Senior Administrative Officer, BVFCL, Namrup, attended the meeting as a representative of the local statutory organization. He offered valuable suggestions for incorporation into the action plan.
• Mr. John Bhenga, Assistant Teacher, Kawaimari High School, participated as an Alumni Member. He appreciated the IQAC’s action plan and contributed additional points for consideration in future IQAC activities.
• Student Representatives:
  The President, Secretary, and other members of the Namrup College Students’ Union (NCSU) were present. They raised various student-related issues and concerns for the committee’s attention.
• Faculty Participation:
  A total of 25 faculty members attended the meeting. Several faculty members provided constructive suggestions aimed at enhancing the outcomes of various IQAC sub-committees.

Conclusion

The meeting concluded with an address by the President, Dr. Durga Prasad Gogoi, who responded positively to all queries raised and expressed appreciation for the support and active participation of all members.

The meeting was formally adjourned with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Ankur Nath, Assistant Coordinator, IQAC, Namrup College.
