Assam most promising scheme for empowering girls students name "Nijot Maina" is facilitating in Namrup College. In this program, formal distribution of application form for girls students of the college was started. Before the distribution of forms, video conferencing lecture of Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, Chief Minister of Assam was presented through LCD projector. Mr. Taranga Gogoi, MLA, Naharkatiya Constituency delivered lecture by targeting girls students.
