Admission at Namrup College
Namrup College is a co-educational higher education institution offering Four-Year Undergraduate Programmes (FYUGP) in both Arts and Science streams.
For the academic session 2026–27, the college offers major courses in Botany, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, and Zoology under the Science stream, and Assamese, Economics, Education, English, History, Political Science, and Sociology under the Arts stream.
Computer Science is offered as a common subject for students of both streams.

Admission to the Higher Secondary First Year course has been initiated. As per the Government notification, registration for admission through the DARPAN portal is available from 12th April, 2026.
Namrup College offers admission to HS First Year in both Arts and Science streams.

WSDC organised Dowry Prohibition awareness
Women Study and Development Cell (WSDC) of Namrup College has organised awareness program on Dowry Prohibition on 6th March 2026.
Peer Teaching
On 6th March 2026, the Peer Teaching Programme was conducted with active participation from students of the Departments of Botany, Mathematics, and Zoology, who delivered seminar presentations on selected topics for the benefit of junior classes.
The seminar presenters were: Ms. Anupriya Borah from the Department of Zoology, who delivered a seminar on “Glycolysis”; Ms. Bornali Dhadumia from the Department of Mathematics, who presented on “Cauchy Sequence”; and Ms. Gayetri Konwar from the Department of Botany, who spoke on “Pinus – Gymnosperms.”
The seminar sessions were presided over by Dr. Urmika Phangchopi, Assistant Professor, Department of Botany; Dr. Susmita Thakur, Assistant Professor, Department of Zoology; and Ms. Antara Hazarika, Assistant Professor, Department of Political Science.
A total of 20 students and 6 faculty members were present in the programme.

Second day of Peer Teaching by students of Mathematics and Physics department has carried out by today. At total of 3 students from mathematics department namely Ms. Bornikha Gogoi, Binit Das and Anushka Agarwal and one student of Physics Department Ms. Dipika Sharma were presented powerpoint to teach their peer students.
